Shipping and deliveries

We ship to over 170 countries. If you live somewhere that’s not listed in the countries list in checkout we’re very sorry. Hopefully, we will be able to ship to your country in the near future.

We offer DHL Express, FedEx Express or Aramex for international shipments and ACS for deliveries within Greece. The available delivery services are based on your selected location and will be displayed in the checkout.

The delivery cost stars at 10.00€ for international shipments and it's free for all deliveries within EU & Greece.

The estimated delivery time is based on your location. We always aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 business hours. In most of cases it takes

  • 1-2 business days for deliveries within Greece and the EU.
  • 2-4 business days for deliveries in the Middle East and North America.
  • 3-5 business days for deliveries in the rest of the world.

When your order is dispatched from our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number and a more exact delivery date. Our warehouse only operates during business hours, Monday to Friday.

When your order is dispatched from our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number. If you have not received this email you can check your spam filter to see if the email has accidentally ended up there. If you cannot find your shipping confirmation please contact our customer service team and we will assist you further.

If you haven’t received your order within the expected delivery time, please contact our customer service within 15 days* from the date the order was placed. *After this period of time, we are not able to claim any lost orders.

For deliveries within the EU no customs clearance is needed and the prices are inclusive of all costs, i.e DDP, Delivery Duty Paid International shipments are sent DAP, Delivered at Place. This means any potential tariffs have to be paid by the end customer. DIfferent economic zones apply different tariffs to sunglasses. The final amount will be calculated once the shipment is checked from your local custom authorities.

All orders placed on our website are shipped from our central warehouse in Athens, Greece.

The warehouse is closed during Bank Holidays, find the deviating dates below. Please add 1-3 business days to the delivery terms during these days.

The insurance covers accidental damage and/or missing item(s) during the shipment process. Due to the nature of international shipping, damage and/or missing items during transit cannot always be entirely avoided or predicted. Should such a situation occur, please contact our customer service team and we will contact the shipping company directly to claim financial compensation.

Returns & Exchanges

 All products must be returned within 30 days since the order was received.

- All products must be returned in their original condition.

- All returns must include the original packaging.

*This applies to all products on our website, including products on sale and underwear.

*Please note that all orders placed between 25th November 2023 and 31st December 2023 can be returned up until 31st January 2024

To return your order, follow the steps below:

1. Contact our customer service at info@faosconcept.com mentioning the order number and the reason for returning the goods.

2. We will either send you the return labels per email or advise you to go to the nearest drop-off location of our carrier partners FedEx service point locator: https://local.fedex.com/en/search ACS service point locator: https://local.fedex.com/en/search

3. When received at the warehouse, your return will be processed within 7 business days. We will notify you by email as soon as we have issued your refund. The refund will be reflected on your bank statement within 2-5 business days.

*Please note that Faos cannot accept returns sent without our selected partners.

You may only use the same carrier used when receiving the products.

Unfortunately no. You may only refer to the store you purchased from.

If you wish to exchange your order you simply return your unwanted item(s) and place a new order online.

When you place an order at faosconcept.com, we will send you an order confirmation to your registered email address. If you haven’t received it after a few minutes, please check your spam folder. If it’s nowhere to be found, please contact our customer service team and we will assist you further.

Once your order has been successfully placed, we cannot issue changes or cancellations on your order. Once you have received your unwanted order, please return this back to our warehouse in accordance with our return section for a full refund.

We are sorry that you have received a faulty order, this is never our intention. Please contact our customer service team with photos and order number and we will assist you further.

All our sunglasses are guaranteed against any defects in materials or manufacturing for two (2) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the sunglasses themselves, i.e. The frame and the lenses. Defects caused by normal wear, like sweat, makeup or lack of cautious handling and/or misuse of the pair, are not covered. Faos reserves the right to justify if the cause of any defection is a result of production fault or misusage. In case of manufacturing fault we will reimburse you with a new pair as the one of your purchase. If, for any reason, that is not possible, we will provide you with a credit note to choose the replacing model yourself.

Payments

We offer Visa, Mastercard, Union Pay, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal. The payment methods we offer are presented in the checkout.

All transactions will be converted in Euro during the transactional step, regardless of the currency you have selected.

If you receive the notification that your credit or debit card has been declined, please contact your issuing bank or payment provider.

Possible reasons for declined payments are invalid payment method, incorrect billing details or bank issues. We advise you to try another card/payment method or contact your bank.

We can only accept payments via 3D Secure (Verified by VISA/Mastercard SecureCode). This payment method is 100% secure and guarantees that the person using the card is the cardholder, by putting the customer in direct contact with the bank to verify their purchase. If you have any questions regarding 3D Secure, please contact your bank.

Furthermore, we use Stripe as our payment provider, one of the leading companies in eCommerce payments sector, ensuring top notch security and continuous update to the modern standards

When ordering from within the EU, all additional charges such as VAT/tax and duties are included in the given price.

When ordering from other countries than above, all prices exclude VAT/tax and duties. Price also excludes costs for physical inspection at customs in countries where this is required. Please note that we cannot undervalue orders, or mark them as a gift.

Unfortunately, we cannot estimate how much tax and duties you will pay to your country as this is regulated by the respective country. Your local customs office should be able to estimate the price of the import fees.

Unfortunately not, tax on purchases made on our online store cannot be recovered through the VAT Retail Export Scheme. Please contact your local customs office to request a refund.*

*For orders outside the EU only. Orders within the EU are always duty-free.

  • Avoid leaving the products inside warm rooms and closed spaces with direct sunlight like your car.
  • Wash the lenses with tap water or certified lenses cleaning accessories.
  • Make sure you use only the special microfiber cloth provided in the official packaging.
No, each model comes in only one size/color combination.
All of our sunglasses are handmade in Greece and the lenses are made in Zeiss factories around the world.

All of our handmade frames are made with exceptionally good quality materials and enriched hinges providing improved durability over time and superior feeling when worn. Seeing clearly is ensured by the color-accurate tinted lenses made in Zeiss factories for unmatched comfort in all light conditions.

Our packaging is made with fine printing methods, using 60% less energy and eco-friendly materials, like recycled PET bottles found in the sea.
